The drug is a kind of medicine that is illegally used for exciting feelings. This is now considered one of the social curses of our modern society. There are several drugs in our country. Opium, hemp, heroin, morphine, fasudil, yaba, etc. are the main drugs taken in our country. The habit of taking drugs and getting addicted is usually found in the young generation who are frustrated because of unemployment or other reasons. Drugs create some kind of dream-like feelings when the drug-taker forgets everything for some moments. The influence of drugs also causes long sleep for the drug addict. But the after-effects of drug addiction are many. It is harmful not only to the addict but also to the whole society. The drug addict cannot come back to normal life easily. Then he grows dependent on the action of the drugs he takes. His nervous system gradually becomes weak and ultimately leads him to decay and death. কিন্তু মাদকাসক্তির পরে অনেকগুলি প্রভাব রয়েছে। এটি কেবল মাদকাসক্তের জন্যই নয়, সমগ্র সমাজকেও ক্ষতি করে। মাদকাসক্ত ব্যক্তি সহজেই স্বাভাবিক জীবনে ফিরে আসতে পারে না। তারপরে সে তার সেবনে নির্ভরশীল হয়ে ওঠে। তার স্নায়ুতন্ত্র ধীরে ধীরে দুর্বল হয়ে পড়ে এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত তার ক্ষয় এবং মৃত্যুর দিকে নিয়ে যায়। যেহেতু মাদক সেবন একটি রোগ, তাই তাকে চিকিৎসা দেওয়া উচিত এবং আমাদের দায়িত্ব মাদকাসক্তদের নিরাময় করা যাতে আমরা সবাই সমাজকে শান্তিতে বাঁচতে পারি।
